The “untitled ghost town movie” – as it’s come to be known – from writer-producer Oren Peli (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY) has finally found a cast, as well as all the money it needs to move forward. FilmNation, which has flicks like THE WARD and James McTeigue’s THE RAVEN to its credit, will fully finance the post-apocalyptic horror tale. Peli penned the story and will produce, while commercials director Brad Parker is helming.

The cast for the flick includes Jonathan Sadowski, Devin Kelley, Jesse McCartney, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips, Ingrid Bolso Berdal and Dimitry Diatchenko.

“We looked at a lot of projects to find FilmNation’s first fully financed movie, and when we were presented with the brillian concept of this film, coupled with Oren’s pedigree it the made the decision very easy,”
said FilmNation CEO Glen Basner.

Here’s what this sucker is about: A group of friends become stranded in an eerie and desolate city. Years before in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, nature has begun to reclaim everything. As the sun sets on this radioactive ghost town, inhuman cries cut through the night air. It seems they are not alone.

No word yet on when the film will commence production.
