Here’s something that seems a little bit strange and a tad bizarre… which is exactly what’d we’d expect from acclaimed film director Uwe Boll. Up on the OFFICIAL WEBSITE for POSTAL, Boll’s latest video game to film adaptation, there’s a brand new clip showcasing Osama Bin Laden as a recovering alcoholic.
Yes, I too scratched my head at the idea, then I checked out the CLIP, and witnessed that not only does it sound like a dumb idea, it’s also executed with the same degree of dumbness. Like I said, done only the way Uwe Boll could.
It’s as if Boll saw how successful BORAT has been and decided that he too will have a character talk to the camera, asking the audience to please go see his movie. Except BORAT was funny, and this is just plain stupid.

Will he break through the mold and deliver us something great, or will it just end up being like everything else he makes? I had hopes at one time, but after this clip… the realization that Boll is on the same course he’s followed with his other films has finally set in. Ah well…
