Out There Halloween Mega Tape: WNUF Halloween Special sequel now on DVD and VHS

A while back, we shared the news that director Chris LaMartina had unveiled a poster for his new movie Out There Halloween Mega Tape, the long-awaited sequel to WNUF Halloween Special (buy it HERE). Out There Halloween Mega Tape is now making the festival rounds, and is also available to purchase on DVD and VHS! You can secure your copy of the movie at THIS LINK.

If you’re not familiar with WNUF Halloween Special, that movie was made to look like it was a VHS recording of a TV station’s long-lost 1987 Halloween special… a special that had gone terribly wrong. Between segments of a reporter investigating a haunted house, the movie was packed with faux commercials that perfectly captured the feeling of watching commercial TV in the 1980s

Out There Halloween Mega Tape has the following synopsis:

Available officially for the first time ever. It’s Halloween in your VCR!

So gorge yourself on candy corn and hunker down for a haunted house party filled with aliens, vamps, and phantom tramps via this hard-to-find flick from an infamous East Coast ’90s bootleg video operation.

Straight from the archives of Trader Tony’s Tape Dungeon, the “Out There Halloween Mega Tape” was assembled from the highest quality source materials available and presented just as it was sold via Trader Tony’s mail order catalog in the 1990s.

The DVD has the following special features:

Audio commentary with Trader Tony
Purple Stuff Podcast picks their favorite commercials
Immortal Dagger’s “Sacred Decapitation” music video

I had a lot of fun watching WNUF Halloween Special, so I’ll definitely be ordering a copy of Out There Halloween Mega Tape. I can’t wait to see what LaMartina and his collaborators came up with for this one. Will you be getting a copy of the movie? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
