A trailer has arrived online for director Mikael Hafstrom's sci-fi action thriller Outside the Wire, and you can check it out in the embed above! Outside the Wire is set to be released through the Netflix streaming service on January 15, 2021.
Scripted by Rob Yescombe and Rowan Athale, the film stars Damson Idris, Anthony Mackie, Enzo Cilenti, Emily Beecham, Michael Kelly, and Pilou Asbaek. The synopsis:
Set in the very near future, a disgraced drone pilot (Idris) is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for an android officer (Mackie) and is tasked to help locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do.
Mackie produced Outside the Wire with Ben Pugh, Erica Steinberg, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Jason Spire.
Hafstrom's previous credits include 1408 (watch it HERE) and Escape Plan (watch that HERE), and Mackie is always awesome, so Outside the Wire has my interest.
