More ghostly horror is coming our way with EMERGO, a horror flick from some of the principals behind BURIED.

According to Variety, the film focuses on a team of high-tech para-psychologists who investigate strange goings-on in a newly occupied apartment. The group’s attempts to contact the other side grow increasingly dangerous.

If only Zak Bagans and crew were on the case…

Instead, EMERGO will star Kai Lennox, Michael O’Keffee, Gia Mantegna, Rick Gonzalez, Fionna Glascott and Francesc Garrido. Award-winning shorts helmer Carles Torrens will direct from a script penned by BURIED director Rodrigo Cortez. Adrian Guerra’s Versus Ent. and Gregoire Melin’s Kinology will produce; the two worked together already on – what else? – BURIED.
