The remake of HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL has a place in my heart — and why not? It has Ali Larter, Bridgette Wilson, Famke Janssen, a scenery-chewing Geoffrey Rush, the dreamy Taye Diggs, and lots of creepy atmosphere. And Chris Kattan dies a grisly death.
That movie’s director William Malone has another spooker on the way called PARASOMNIA, and while the budget’s obviously lower than a Joel Silver production, it seems to have an unsettling tone and plenty of freaky imagery. The movie involves a “sleeping beauty” afflicted with the titular condition, a serial killer, genre regular Jeffrey Combs, bloodshed, and bizarre rickety creations. Check out the trailer below.
