Paxton joins House

STYD scored the big news this morning that hottie Sara Paxton has joined the cast of Dennis Iliadis’s THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake.

Paxton is set to play Mari Collingwood, or the young victim of foul play, in the remake, joining Garret Dillahunt, Rhys Coiro, Martha MacIsaac and Riki Lindhome. Paxton who? I’m sure you all caught her in AQUAMARINE, and probably have been following her career since RETURN TO HALLOWEENTOWN. I know I have… not!

Considering she’s done nothing but safe movies up until this point, starring in THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT may well put her into the genre limelight, with plenty more to come.
