Pedro says that Crank 3 may or may not have Jason Statham in it

Efren Ramirez told MovieWeb that Jason Statham could or could not be in CRANK 3.

Is it even a CRANK film then? This has nothing to do with Statham not wanting to be a part of the film. It just depends on whether or not the third film will serve as a prequel or not. All of this according to Ramirez.

During press of Comic-Con, a reporter from MovieWeb blurted out that a CRANK 3 needed to be made. This was Ramirez’s response:

“Alright, I’ll tell you guys real quick. Mark [Neveldine] and Brian [Taylor] (directors on both CRANK films) who are here for GHOST RIDER as well are going to possibly be talking about CRANK 3. Either going forward with Jason Statham or going back with a prequel.”
