Well QT’s INGLORIOUS BASTARDS seems to be taking yet another hit. But unlike the rest, instead of casting news we’ve got a bit of uncasting news for you today.
Over at the MySpace page for Simon Pegg fansite Peggster.net, Mr. Pegg himself posted an update for us all via his blog:
Much to our mutual disappointment, I won’t be appearing in QT’s forthcoming Inglorious Bastards due to insurmountable scheduling difficulties. We really tried to make it work but in the end, it just was not possible without severe ramifications elsewhere.
Aww man. Simon Pegg is a brilliant actor, and would add the perfect dose of awkward comedy a QT movie would call for… so his departure definately stings a little… even if his role wasn’t going to be that big.
So what’s next with INGLORIOUS BASTARDS? As always, we’ll keep you updated.
