I came across this flick today that immediately peaked my interest… it’s called SOLACE. Of course this isn’t to be confused with the next James Bond adventure entitled QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
No, this one won’t invole a suave double O agent who gets all the ladies. This SOLACE will deal with a former doctor with psychic abilities who is drawn into a serial killer case only to find that the killer also is a psychic, leading to a showdown between the two who can detect each other’s every move.
Albeit a bit cheesy, that actually sounds pretty awesome! Imagine with some great actors in the mix… we’d be in for a treat! Well today The Hollywood Reporter dropped word on who’s set to direct this badboy: Mark Pellington.
Pellington (above) is probably most known for directing music videos, though he does have some films under his belt like ARLINGTON ROAD and THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES. Seems like Pellington has a unique mind that will mold this flick perfectly!
Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin penned the script with rewrites by ZODIAC’s Jamie Vanderbilt. we’ll be keeping an eye on this one, so we’ll update you when we hear anymore news.
