Phil Spector, Music Producer and Convicted Murderer, Dies at 81

phil spector dies

You know how last year when a well-known public figure passed away and there was a big outcry about how "2020 really sucks!"? Well, I don't think 2021 is going to get much shade thrown its way after this one: music producer Phil Spector has just died. He was 81. He was also convicted of the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson at his home.

Call me crazy, but I don't feel much like celebrating this guy. Yeah, he made a "Wall of Sound" recording process that helped a bunch of famous singers. All I see stamped to his name is a woman killer who was sentenced to 19 years to life in a California state prison. Sorry for the opinionated article, but it's a slow Sunday and men who kill women get zero respect from me. Spector died in jail because of Covid-19 complications. Thanks 2021!
