With the winter solstice now upon us, a new picture from Baltasar Kormakur's EVEREST has made it's way to computers everywhere. Having previously directed Mark Wahlberg in the likes of CONTRABAND and 2 GUNS, Kormakur heads to the mountain of the same name to tell his latest tale inspired by true events that took place on Everest in 1996, as well as Jon Krakauer's "Into Thin Air".  EVEREST will focus on a expedition gone wrong when a snow storm devastates a group of climbers. As you can see from the latest image below, the film will star the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, along with Josh Brolin, Jason Clarke, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley and Robin Wright, among others.

This next picture you may have seen before, but it is just now making the rounds on the various film sites. Featuring Alicia Vikander, Armie Hammer (looking quite Michael Fassbender here) and Henry Cavill, this image from THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. oozes the style that Guy Ritchie is sure to inject a ton of in his latest 1960s period piece based up on the TV show of the same name. The story follows that of CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Cavill) and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin (Hammer) as they participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons. While Tom Cruise left the lead role to take on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5, Cavill and the rest of the cast definitely look the part. Here's hoping this flick has a little more going for it than Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies, as good as Robert Downey Jr. was in them.

EVEREST will hit theaters on September 18, 2015, while THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. is looking at an August 14, 2015 release.
