I don’t know how many of you have gotten the chance to check out the new DOCTOR WHO series on the SciFi Channel, or directly from the BBC if your cable’s any good, but it’s really an amazing series. I have not personally seen the original series, so can make no comparisons there, but the new one is intense, funny, sexy, and even scary on occasion.

Time to face some sour news, though, and if you want no spoilers then stop reading here and just look at the pretty pictures…
OK, still with me? Fans already knew the series would be even more extreme than 24 in its willingness to dispose of key characters. Case in point is the departure at the end of Season 1 of lead actor Christopher Eccleston.
Now it’s been confirmed that spunky hottie Rose, played by Billie Piper, will have a stunning exit at the close of Season 2. All this change in the cast is making my poor head swim. I mean these are characters that I’ve really come to care about.
Thank goodness the weekend is here and I can drink away the pain. Meanwhile, enjoy the pics of sexy Ms. Piper. We’ll miss ya, Billie!
