Back at the beginning of April we heard about SHARK NIGHT 3D, the new flick coming our way from director David R. Ellis that is basically exactly what it sounds like: A killer shark flick in 3D. Though when we heard about the flick over a month ago, we were offered absolutely no details aside from the fact that Ellis would be directing.
Well today that changes! You see, thanks to Variety we’ve now got a synopsis to tag along to SHARK NIGHT 3D! Arlight… so it isn’t much, but at least it’s something! Here’s the goods:
“Shark Night” revolves around a group of college friends who spend the weekend at a lake, only to discover that danger lurks beneath its waters.
Well sh*t… I could’ve guessed that one. Good thing a flick like this doesn’t need a great plot to be fun! Simple plot, 3D sharks, hot young stars… SHARK NIGHT 3D is molding together nicely! Dare I say this bad boy has potential? If only to watch hot chicks frolick around in the water just to be torn apart by a vicious shark!
SHARK NIGHT 3D is coming from Incentive Filmed Entertainment with a script by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes. Sierra Pictures have just scored key territory deals for the flick in U.K., CIS and the Middle East. Entertainment Film Distributors picked up the film for the U.K., Central Partnership for CIS, and Italia for the Middle East.
