With Magnolia Pictures’ genre arm Magnet Releasing snatching up U.S. rights to V/H/S: VIRAL, the third film in the horror anthology franchise, we now have a trailer that delivers all the insanity we’ve come to expect from these films. The trailer doesn't have a problem dishing out plenty of the red stuff and is coupled with some insane imagery that is sure to leave your jaw on the floor. Right now Magnet is eyeing a theatrical and VOD release this fall. Check out the trailer below along with the new poster!

V/H/S VIRAL will feature segments from Todd Lincoln (THE APPARITION), Nacho Vigalondo (TIMECRIMES), Marcel Sarmiento (DEADGIRL), Gregg Bishop (THE OTHER SIDE), Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (RESOLUTION).

Here's a rundown of the segments in V/H/S: VIRAL which include…

…the story of a deranged illusionist who obtains a magical object of great power, a homemade machine that opens a door to a parallel world, teenage skaters that unwillingly become targets of a Mexican death cult ritual, and a sinister, shadowy organization that is tracking a serial killer. The segments are tied together by the story of a group of fame-obsessed teens following a violent car chase in LA that unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.

Marcel Sarmimento, TJ Cimfel, Dave White, Gregg Bishop, Nacho Vigalondo, Justin Benson, Aaron Moorehead and Lincoln wrote the screenplay. Emilia Zoryan, Justin Welborn and Emmy Argo are among the cast. Brad Miska and and Gary Binkow serve as producers.
