Here’s a promo poster for the horror film HONEYMOON, which will soon make its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival. Flick stars “Game of Thrones” cutie Rose Leslie and Harry Treadaway, who plays Dr. Frankenstein in Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful.”
Directed by Leigh Janiak, HONEYMOON goes like this:
Young newlyweds Paul (Harry Treadaway) and Bea (Rose Leslie) travel to remote lake country for their honeymoon where the promise of private romance awaits them. Shortly after arriving, Paul finds Bea wandering and disoriented in the middle of the night. As she becomes more distant and her behavior increasingly peculiar, Paul begins to suspect something more sinister than sleepwalking took place in the woods.
It remains to be seen if HONEYMOON will get a distribution deal, but if it turns out to be as good as the oddly eerie poster, we can expect to hear more in the coming months.
