New posters unleashed for Korean zombie sequel Train to Busan: Peninsula

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I've said on this site before how much I loved the South Korean zombie film TRAIN TO BUSAN. It was beautifully gory, white-knuckled suspenseful, as well as funny and even heart-warming. So while I wasn't gung-ho on a sequel (for fear of diluting the original), so far everything I've seen so far has looked pretty cool! Here's the official synopsis:

Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in Train to Busan, Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won), a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.

And it looks like Bloody-Disgusting got the first look at some new posters, which show off the more action-oriented nature of the sequel (while the original was much more contained). You can check them out for yourself below.

So what do you guys think? Fans of TRAIN TO BUSAN? If so, how are you feeling about the sequel so far? Either way, sound off in the comments!
