So this TWILIGHT thing is still going strong. Hell they’re not even done with the second installment NEW MOON and we’ve already got all kinds of ECLIPSE talk! ECLIPSE is of course the third installment to the franchise. We already have a release date for ECLIPSE and now we might even have a director?
Might. Apparently Summit Entertainement are already shopping around for a director and according to Entertainement Weekly… Drew Barrymore is a likely candidate. Yes, CHARLIE’S ANGEL Drew Barrymore might be directing ECLIPSE. Considering this franchise doesn’t do much for me I guess I can care less about this news… but it’s still pretty damn interesting. Never in a million years would Barrymore’s name come to mind when thinking of potential TWILIGHT 3 directors. But alas… Hollywood surprises us again. At this point I think Summit can peg Carrot Top to direct a TWILIGHT SAGA and it’ll make bank. Got to love that fan base!
In other TWILIGHT SAGA news, word around the interweb is that Bronson Pelletier has been cast in a leading role for NEW MOON as one of the werewolves in the film. Pelletier’s talent agency Carrier Talent Management broke the news via their Spotlight page but it seems the announcement has since been removed. So no word on if Summit wants to keep the announcement on the lowdown for now or if Pelletier is actually cast in the film. We’ll find out soon enough. As long as we’ve got vampires versus werewolves we’ll be keeping you all updated on anything and everything TWILIGHT.
