Poughkeepsie delayed

Things aren’t looking too hot for THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES. After some scathing reviews and extremely bad screenings over the past few weeks, it looks like MGM is pulling THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES from their 2008 line-up… for the time being, at least.

February 8th was the day the film was originally set to be released, and now it’s slapped with the dreadful TBA as it’s official release date. Bummer.

While it didn’t look like my bag of chips and then some, I still root for the little guy when they’re picked up in hopes to making it big. TAPES definitely looked like it had some promise, and even our newsman Eric said it wasn’t half-bad, but as they’re trying to say this is ‘real’ when it obviously isn’t… well, it’s leaving a nasty taste in the audience mouth.

So what does this mean, exactly? Nothing. Just that THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES has been postponed… stick around here for the new date, which we’ll bring to you as soon as it’s announced!

A little something to brighten your day after this set-back.
