With the next iteration in the MORTAL KOMBAT series heading our way October 6th, Gamespot scored some info on what PS2 fans can get with their copy (don’t worry, the other consoles will get their share).
According to info from Midway, the Playstation 2 Premium Edition of MORTAL KOMBAT: ARMAGEDDON will arrive in stores with a series of metallic covers: three featuring some of the series’ legendary rivals (Kano and Sonya, Sindel and Shao Kahn, Johnny Cage and Goro), and one reprising the standard edition’s cover art. The Premium Edition carries a price tag of $49.95 and includes a fully playable version of ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3, over an hour of bonus videos (including a piece on the history of fatalities), and an animation cell autographed by one-half of the franchise’s creators, Ed Boon. Not bad for a price under $50, eh?
