Want to spend $395 on a sixth scale figure of the iconic Predator as seen in Prey, the latest entry in the Predator franchise? Sideshow has you covered. The company is currently accepting pre-orders (at THIS LINK) for just such a figure, a collaboration between Sideshow and Hot Toys. A couple images of the figure can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found at the Sideshow link.

Pre-ordered figures are expected to ship out sometime between October 2024 and March 2025.

Here’s some info on the Prey Predator figure, which stands at a height of 14.5″: Exquisitely crafted based on Feral Predator’s appearance in Prey with phenomenal paintworks, the one-sixth scaled Predator action figure features a newly developed head sculpt with highly detailed rubber hair, interchangeable mandibles with fangs, sculpted lamellar skirt and ankle wraps. A variety of hunting weapons such as shield, blades, whip, batons in different modes, spear gun and spear, and accessories including an LED lighted Predator mask, capsule backpack, bones and a newly designed diorama base inspired by Naru’s campsite for extensive display.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) from a screenplay by Patrick Aison (Jack Ryan), Prey has the following synopsis: Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

John Davis produced Prey with Marty Ewing and Jhane Myers, who is a Native Comanche. Lawrence Gordon, Ben Rosenblatt, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Marc Toberoff served as executive producers.

The film stars Amber Midthunder (Roswell, New Mexico), Dakota Beavers (of the band WesternBoy), Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), Julian Black Antelope (Tribal), Cody Big Tobacco (The Revenant), Skye Pelletier (Burden of Truth), Tymon Carter (The Emigrants), and Harlan Blayne Kytwayhat (Shoresy), with Dane DiLiegro (American Horror Stories), a 6’9″ former basketball player who has experience working in creature suits, as the Predator.

Originally released through the Hulu streaming service, Prey was recently given a 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release – and copies of the Prey physical media release can be purchased at THIS LINK.
