THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG is notable for two reasons: 1. It’s the first black princess in the history of Disney, and 2. It’s a hand-drawn animated film, the first from Disney in over four years. Even better is that Ron Clements and John Musker, they of ALADDIN and THE LITTLE MERMAID (two of my favorite Disney films), are directing with Alan Menken writing the songs. The film doesn’t come out for about a year and a half, but a teaser is already online. Certainly has a beautiful look and animation purists are gonna flip for it. Take a look below…
