Yee Haw! Now who doesn’t love hillbillies? Especially psychotic hillbillies! Well, hey, we’re in luck because I’ve just learned that there just so happens to be a new horror short coming our way called—wait for it—PSYCHO HILLBILLY CABIN MASSACRE! This one appears to have all the makings of a genre fan’s wet dream. Now, in case the title is too subtle and you’d like a look at the synopsis, I’ll happily oblige:
A bloodbath erupts when a group of attractive Ivy League students discover an isolated hillbilly cabin in the woods.
Simple. Familiar. Grisly. Perfect! I don’t ask for much in terms of “Massacre” flicks—just heaping helpings of gore and an exploitation of the flesh of the ladies. Fortunately, PSYCHO HILLBILLY appears to be right in sync with my lowlife expectations. Feel free to check out the trailer here. The short was directed by Robert F. Cosnahan III and written by Douglas Howell and
Wendy Wegner. It stars Charlie Capen, Cali Fredrichs (the brunette below), Angela Schnaible (the blonde below), Hunter Huston, Patty McCormack, Edgar Allan Poe IV, and Todd Quillen.
