QT talks Kill Bill

JoBloJoBlo

Quentin Tarantino has been on the promotion trail for his WWII opus INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, but he’s still got a little KILL BILL left in the brain.

As for the long-promised THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR cut with both volumes and extras merged… well, it’s still being promised. The ever-loquacious Tarantino tells Sci-Fi Wire: “I’m not going to monkey around with the movie itself, but we’ve actually done a whole new section for the anime as the last thing [we added]. I actually wrote a much longer script for the anime section during O-Ren’s revenge chapter. Remember the guy with the long hair that kills her father? It’s like, what happened to that dude? Well, I wrote it and it was the biggest, most elaborate thing I wrote—her taking him down.

QT says he’s working on the lengthened sequence with animation house Production IG, who provided the o-riginal O-Ren flashback, for the eventual DVD (and theatrical?) WHOLE BLOODY release.

Tarantino also claims that the undivided GRINDHOUSE DVD is also still in the works.
