Ready for Saw 4?

Perhaps jumping the gun, or over-estimating the success of SAW III, but according to Bloody-Disgusting, Lionsgate is preparing for the best, and have signed on a group of writers to take on SAW 4 (or IV).

Not that it’s surprising that it’s anticipating a successful Halloween weekend, as the first two SAW films slaughtered the B.O. without a problem. But is the world ready for another ‘another year, another movie’ horror franchise, made popular in the 80s with the FRIDAY THE 13TH series?

Hell yes the world’s ready! There are now a handful of people out there who are making it a Halloween tradition to see a SAW movie Halloween weekend… and I’m sure they’d be more than happy to see it continue for a few more years. The concept/story hasn’t been played out too much, though life beyound a sixth may be a bit of a stretch…
