Real robots watching the Morgan trailer is creepier than the actual trailer

Luke Scott's MORGAN looks like a healthy mix of EX MACHINA and ALIEN, featuring a genetically engineered human who seemingly goes on a murderous rampage. The trailers thus far have done an admirable job creeping out audiences, but this latest one tops them all. In this unique reaction video, two of the world's most advanced robots watch the first trailer for MORGAN. Yeah, I don't like the sound of it either!

Listen, I'm not an idiot . . . but I've seen TERMINATOR and THE MATRIX, and I'm sure that's enough evidence to smash these two into pieces. Then again, I feel the same way about apes thanks to Andy Serkis' recent films, so perhaps a "live and let live" policy will have to do for now. I don't know how well MORGAN will fare with critics, but I'm willing to bet it's low-budget enough to earn itself a nice little profit.

MORGAN opens in theaters on September 2, 2016.
