Last month we told you how the new RED SONJA film was actually happening with Robert Rodriguez producing and Rose McGowan starring. Well regardless of the two seperating in their personal life, it looks like RED SONJA is still set to go considering the two new posters released today!
Tieing in with Comic Con this weekend, we have the release of the first poster above, coming from Yahoo! Movies, and the poster below coming from MTV. Just click the one below to head on over to MTV to check out the whole thing. Both feature McGowan in flowing red hair, and she’s licking what looks like blood off a sword above… is it wrong that I find that hot? Who cares, it’s hot!
Douglas Aarniokoski is directing with a script from David White. I have a feeling this RED SONJA will be shying away from the ‘barbarian-esque’ feel of the original. So enjoy the new posters of smokin hot McGowan above and below and as always, we’ll keep you updated.
