Although leaked footage didn't force Fox's hand, the studio has decided to officially release the FANTASTIC FOUR trailer that was screened over the weekend at SDCC, and in my opinion it's the best look yet at the upcoming film. The trailer feels more superhero-y than the previous ones, and has a bunch of new footage, including new looks at the team in action and Toby Kebbell's Doom.
To be honest, I still have no clue what to expect from the reboot, and I definitely don't know how well it will perform at the box office when it opens next month. I am really digging this new trailer though, and while I know some have their fingers crossed that the film will fail, I'd much rather see it surprise all of us and be a kick-ass movie take on the superhero team.
FANTASTIC FOUR will be in theaters on August 7, 2015.
