Over the weekend we were informed that the crazy mofos behind ZOMBIE NIGHT 1 & 2 are at it again with part 3, currently known as REEL ZOMBIES. We told you about the project awhile back, but now it seems as thought production is full swing ahead… hell, it even has an OFFICIAL WEBSITE!
Directed by David J. Francis and produced by Mike Masters, REEL ZOMBIES hedges on the fact that the Zombie mayhem that has taken a grip on the nation is only a temporary problem, the film makers realize that once normalcy has returned, demand for Zombie product (now outlawed) will be at an all time high.
You may be scratching your head, but the premise basically explores what happens when these guys are trying to make a zombie movie when real life zombies are taking over the world!!! So it’s a zombie movie within a movie!! How cool is that???
Playing almost like a montage of behind the scene featurettes you’d find on a DVD special edition, REEL ZOMBIES documents the ‘real life’ zombie outbreak as they’re filming their very own ‘zombie movie’. Part mocumentary, part sequel, and 100% zombie horror! If you’re sick of all the zombie flicks that have ‘been there’ and ‘done that’, then no need to worry… this flick will rock your socks off!
