Reimagining Stephen King’s The Mist: New featurette on the Spike series

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

One of the upcoming TV shows I am looking forward to the most is Spike’s adaptation of Stephen King’s novella THE MIST. It was only a few days ago that we shared the newest trailer for the series and today we have a cool new featurette to pass along.

The new featurette is called “Reimagining The Mist” and as the title suggests, it gives us a look at the challenges of taking the book and turning it into a full season of 10-episodes. And a whole on-going series at that.

Check out the new featurette below and then let us know how excited you are about THE MIST on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Spike’s THE MIST synopsis:

Based on a story by Stephen King, Spike’s THE MIST centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

Spike’s THE MIST comes to us from showrunner Christian Torpe and stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland (see below), Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and Frances Conroy.

The Mist premieres on Spike Thursday, June 22.
