2009 is about to be unleashed and with it will come a brand new year’s worth of new horror flicks that hopefully won’t suck. However, I can already tell about one particular flick that will most certainly suck… but possibly in a good way (and no, I’m not about to inform you of a porn-themed horror). The offering I’m speaking of is Brett Kelly’s ATTACK OF THE GIANT LEECHES, which will finally make its bow on DVD in the new year. I last told you about this little sucker and its cheesy-fun trailer here.
Now, I’d like to give you my own specially crafted plot synopsis for LEECHES: Some big-ass leeches show up in the lake of some backwoods, hick town. Then people start dying in the suckiest of ways.
Pretty tough synopsis to surmise, huh? Anyways, the LEECHES will begin their DVD sucking on April 27, 2009 from Midnight Releasing. The cast is comprised of Mark Courneyea, Kevin Preece, Kerri Draper, Barry Caiger, Shawna McSheffrey, Gary Peterson, Jody Haucke, Trevor Payer, Mark Singleton, Ray Besharah, Alissa Prtichard, Laura White, and Diane Camelin. Kelly directed it from a script by Jeff O’Brien.
