Richard Armitage The Hobbit Sleepwalker

Richard Armitage (THE HOBBIT, INTO THE STORM), Haley Joel Osment (TUSK) and Ahna O'Reilly have joined the psychological thriller SLEEPWALKER, which comes from director Elliott Lester (Nightingale).

SLEEPWALKERS focuses on

… a grad student who goes to a campus sleep clinic to treat her insomnia and nightmares, but instead starts experiencing unsettling changes in her waking reality every time she wakes up. With the help of a doctor, she attempts to find her way back to normalcy by unraveling the tangled knot of her dreams, reality, and shockingly tragic past.

O'Reilly will play the student, while Armitage is described as the handsome sleep researcher who develops a unique relationship with her. Osment will reportedly tackle a role like "nothing you’ve seen him do,” according to Deadline, although the specifics aren't forthcoming.

Filming on SLEEPWALKER is underway in L.A.
