It's been quite some times since we least heard any word on KIDNAPPED director Miguel Ángel Vivas' WELCOME TO HARMONY, an apocalyptic tale starring Matthew Fox and Jeffrey Donovan, with our last report coming in over a year ago when we shared the first images from the film. Now we've learned that the film has been retitled to EXTINCTION thanks to the first poster from the flick, courtesy of Aullidos.

Quinn McColgan and Clara Lago also star in the tale that concerns…

“Nine years after an infection turns most of the humanity into rabid creatures, Patrick, Jack and Lu, a nine-year-old girl, survive in seeming peace and calm in the forgotten snow-covered town of Harmony. We nonetheless sense that something terrible happened between Patrick and Jack because a deep hate keeps them apart. When the infected appear again, Patrick and Jack will have to leave behind all rancor to protect the one being who means more to them than anything else.”

Jaume Collet-Serra and Juan Sola are producing through their Ombra Films banner along with Hernany Perla. Vivas and Alberto Marini adapted Juan de Dios Garduno’s bestselling book "Y pese a todo".

Hopefully we'll be seeing a trailer for this one soon. I'm definitely curious to see and know more about this one.
