Riddick game trailer

JoBloJoBlo

While it’s unknown (unlikely?) if we’ll ever see smooth-headed night-visioned intergalactic badass Riddick on the big screen again, at least we’ll be able to take control of his digital likeness in hi-def glory and slice, strangle and shoot through various foes.

After a brief time in limbo, Atari picked up the new game RIDDICK: ASSAULT ON DARK ATHENA, a sequel to the shockingly good last-gen game ESCAPE FROM BUTCHER BAY. As before, the game utilizes Vin Diesel’s voice and visage, not to mention creative input from the actor himself (his Tigon Studios is producing).

The game arrives later this year — you can check out the new trailer below.
