Acquired by Lions Gate at this year’s Sundance for nearly $3 million for worldwide distribution rights, Chris Gorak’s RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR is set to be released in the UK on September 8th. The film stars Mary McCormack, Rory Cochrane and Tony Perez in this thriller, and we’ve received the link to the film’s teaser trailer, which looks pretty good for such a short clip. Hopefully we get more from the film as it’s release gets closer, including the dates for when we get it over on our side of the pond.
The film story centres around Los Angeles after a series of dirty bombs are detonated, sending toxic ash across the city. Brad (Cochrane) mistakenly quarantines his own wife, Lexi (McCormack), outside their new home by sealing himself inside the humble abode. With the city going nuts (it is LA, after all) and Martial Law in effect, Brad and Lexi struggle to survive with little supply, limited time and no information on what the hell to do, all the while separated by thin doors and thinner sheets of plastic. When ‘help’ finally arrives, it’s anything but.
