Last month, I gave you all the heads-up on a new flick called ROAD TO HELL which had just scored Michael Pare as its lead. Now we already have our first official still from the film (above) and I’ve got to say, that’s one hell of a shot! The multi-colored, clouded sky, the not-quite-full-color look of Pare and his co-star, Clare Kramer, and of course, Ms. Kramer’s healthy bosom!

I’m starting to get the feeling that ROAD is shaping up to be one special flick. I’m told that it was shot entirely on a green screen which explains the unique look of the still. It is somewhat like SIN CITY, I guess, and that’s a very cool thing! Director Albert Pyun is already done with editing and is now moving on to compositing. Once again, have a look at the plot:

A soldier who has been fighting a long war is driven mad because he no longer believes in any purpose or righteous truth behind the killing. He comes home to a surreal world looking for his first and only love from his youth, believing she will rescue him from his demons. On the road to Edge City he encounters two seductive spree killers who oppose his efforts to find his love and the redemption he desperately seeks.

There’s still no set release date, but hopefully that’ll change soon. For now you can check out ROAD’s official website here. The poster, which also reminds me of SIN CITY, is right below.
