Last year we told you that ZOMBIELAND writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick had sold their robot invasion spec script EPSILON to Sony, with a search for a director to follow. Now that director has been found: Greg Berlanti.

Berlanti has a pretty interesting resume, most of it set in the TV world; he currently executive produces CW’s “Arrow,” and executive produced shows like “No Ordinary Family” and “Brothers and Sisters”. He also co-wrote WRATH OF THE TITANS, GREEN LANTERN, and is attached to direct a feature version of THE FLASH.

Here’s the film’s plot:

Epsilon is set after a failed robot rebellion on an Earth almost entirely devoid of electronic devices. The remaining robots seek refuge on a space station and begin to raise their own human lab rats, which they train to act as their agents. The main character is a man who discovers he is more human than he thought.

We’ll let you know more about EPSILON as more info comes in.
