Meteors have caused a lot of trouble in genre movies over the decades, and a cast that includes Debbie Rochon, Suzi Lorraine, Ava Brunini, and Vivica A. Fox have to deal with the horrific effects of yet another space rock in director Stefano Milla's SOLID STATE.

Written by Gero Giglio, the film has the following synopsis:

Be careful of what you touch. A large meteor is heading quickly toward Earth. A space defense launches a missile and seems to destroy the meteor. But a small piece of the meteor lands in a remote part of Europe. An up and coming American rock band is touring through Europe when their van breaks down… near the meteor. The area is eerily quiet and the band finds clues of people living in the area but no one is found. Gradually, they begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together but the meteor is having a deadly effect on them.

Having put a rock band up against meteor monsters, Milla and Giglio have the makings of a B-movie cult classic on their hands here, especially with the cast that's in it. When I watch the movie, I hope to find that SOLID STATE lives up to its potential.

If you look the movie up on IMDb, it has a 2012 date listed, but it's set to reach DVD and Blu-ray on November 22nd of this year. Less than two weeks from today.

Check out the trailer below, and if you'd like to pre-order a copy of SOLID STATE you can do so on Amazon.
