Today is what I like to call a hella slow news day, mainly because there’s not much out there, so I’m gonna throw ya some scraps and you can do what you will with them. Like this story, for example, which is entirely in the RUMOR category, but you never know until it’s proven otherwise.
According to B-D, Rogert Rodriguez and his Troublemaker Studios will be producing the upcoming PREDATOR retake for 20th Century Fox. Say whaaaaa???
But wait, it gets better… check out the new synopsis: a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters. Wow. I’m speechless. Is that really the direction they’re going? Same movie, but instead of just ONE predator, there’s got to be a herd of predators? I guess that’s just Hollywood right there in a nutshell.
Of course, this is simply a f*cking RUMOR and to be taken lightlly until next week when some other piece of news contradicts it, or… hey, you never know, it could the truth afterall. And wouldn’t that be a mindf*ck. Rodriguez rebooting the PREDATOR series? Just seems odd… so odd, it might even be true!
