When we last heard from G. Cameron Romero, he had renamed his directorial debut from 24FPS to the less mysterious sounding but still cool THE SCREENING, which is being produced by Christofer Lombardo and executive-produced by James Aiello, Jeff Battin and Melissa Cuadra.
Today, over at the film’s official site, the trailer for the film is up and running, and boy does it look rough! Tom Savini taught his students well (students from Tom Savini’s Special Makeup and Effects Program are helping out with the FX)! Think DAY OF THE DEAD gore, except replace the zombies with actual people. Nasty stuff, indeed. The film is about a series of underground films and the unpleasant effects they have on those that are unfortunate enough to see said films. Like your IQ dropping after watching BIO-DOME.
