After this weekend’s box office success with HOSTEL, and after being heralded as one of the best ‘new generation’ horror directors out there, what’s left for Eli Roth to do? Do an interview with SuicideGirls, of course!

Yes, Eli sat down with the website to have a little chat about, well, horror. From Roth’s promotion of the SuicideGirls website (which was where SHAUN OF THE DEAD director Edgar Wright first heard of Eli Roth) and the genesis of HOSTEL (it turns out that the Italian poster really was an homage to MANIAC) to Tarantino wanting to play a part in HOSTEL and Roth’s thoughts on WOLF CREEK.

The last bit of the interview deals with HOSTEL’s ending (they re-shot it for no-so-nice reasons), and also some odd experiences that he, Derek Richardson and Jay Hernandez had in Europe in the past (hint: it’s not the stuff from HOSTEL). To read the entire article, point your browser here.
