Clark Kent… I mean Superman… I mean Brandon Routh has been talking about the upcoming comic adaptation of DYLAN DOG for quite some time now (check THIS out), but so far… no real progress. Until now, that is… at least, according to Routh.
He had a chance to talk with IESB about his upcoming role in ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO, and he dropped some lines about DYLAN DOG… also known as DEAD OF NIGHT. Check it out: I think we are actually going to make it now (laughing). I’ve never said that before, but I will now, all the paperwork is being finalized finally and we are looking really strong for a January, mid-January start I believe, in New Orleans. And, Kevin [Munroe] and I are looking at the script again and he’s got his draft and I am excited about it.
And there you have it! After months of talking about it, DEAD OF NIGHT appears to be going forward! Are they shooting for a fall 2009 release? Only if we’re lucky! It’s been awhile, so in case you forgot, DEAD OF NIGHT goes like this; It’s about Dylan who’s a nightmare investigator and primarily in this film we’re going to be involved with zombies and werewolves and vampires and some activity that occurs there creating comedy, action, horror and the thrills ensue.
