Rue the day

There’s a shift happening at the top of Canada’s most famous genre mag. Rue Morgue founder and Editor-In-Chief Rob Gudino is stepping down from the post he has held for 8 years to work on the launch of Rue Morgue Cinema.

Here’s a bit of what Gudino had to say about the move – Film has been a goal right from the very beginning, but it’s a big step and I wanted to make sure everything was taken care of before I allowed myself to go in that direction. I hope to bring a new vision to the genre with the same quality and attention to detail that has made the magazine a leading name in the industry.

Sounds good to me. Former Managing Editor Jovanka Vuckovic will take over the vacancy left by Gudino’s departure. It should be awesome to see what these sick bastards come up with as they continue to extend their reach.
