When astute JoBlo reader ‘exterminatrixx’ pointed the way to a trailer for a “Russian remake of COMMANDO”, I assumed it was simply a new action flick that was influenced by Mr. Schwarzenegger’s fine work.
But nope — while it takes a few liberties with the original (a skimobile, a hotter stewardess — all due respect to Rae Dawn Chong), it otherwise seems like a scene-for-scene repeat of Arnie’s 80s masterpiece of cartoon violence. In fact, it might be even further over-the-top. I don’t know what they’re saying, but I don’t think it really matters. Dig it.
