Well, damn. Actress Daveigh Chase, the young terror Samara from THE RING remake, has certainly blossomed into an aesthetically pleasing young woman.
The kid sis of DONNIE DARKO is back as that character in a questionable direct-to-vid sequel called S. DARKO. And while filmmaker Richard Kelly isn’t involved, the follow-up (set seven years after Jake slept with a jet engine) seems to have at least attempted to capture the tone of the original.
In the movie, Donnie’s fine teen sibling Samantha is on a road trip with friends when she starts experiencing bizarre visions (like the chick from SHOWGIRLS). Check out the trailer below.
