Just the other day when we showed you a new Italian one-sheet for DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT, I was pondering when we would finally see it here in the States. Well we finally have a lead. In a recent interview, star Sam Huntington revealed that it may be released in April:
“I had so much fun making that movie. It was such a ridiculous ride, and I think that the movie ultimately is that. So I’m really pleased that we kind of all knew what we were getting into when we signed on, and I had so much fun playing the character. And I think it’s coming out in April. I heard that a couple of days ago.”
Take this information with a grain of salt, but we will let you know if there is any truth to it. DYLAND DOG is directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT) and scripted by the team of Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (A SOUND OF THUNDER), who adapted the story from the comic book series by Tiziano Sclavi.
In addition to Huntington, the cast includes Brandon Routh (SUPERMAN RETURNS), Taye Diggs (THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL), Peter Stormare (FARGO), Anita Briem (below, JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH), Brian Steele (PREDATORS), and professional wrestler Kurt Angle. The film opens in Italy on March 18th.
