So this is awesome! Netflix has just unveiled a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman's seminal dark fantasy graphic novel Sandman, which you can watch at the top of the article! It shows off the expansive sets, intricate props, beautiful concept art, and comics-accurate creature designs that will be seen in the epic series, as well as a first look at the cast, including Tom Sturridge as Morpheus, a.k.a. Sandman himself!
Here's the official synopsis:
A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven, The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.
Meanwhile, no release date as of yet, but we'll keep you posted! I personally can't wait!
