On Monday we were given the heads up from Rob Zombie himself that news would be coming out of THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO (check that out HERE), and today… today we have the news he was talking about!
According to Zombie’s MYSPACE BLOG, Tura Satana, the bodacious babe from FASTER PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL!, has been cast to return as Varla, starring alongside Otis from THE DEVIL’S REJECTS!
Fans of classic exploitation should be stoked as hell on the news, as it’s not everyday a living legend like Satana graces us with her presence on the big screen–even if it is simply in voice/animated form.
That said, I am sad to see that the new announcement wasn’t a new trailer, or a new clip, or maybe the official poster.. my hopes were high, and unfortunately for me, they weren’t met. Oh well.
