What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than the release of SAW II on DVD! Oh Yes, There Will Be Blood!!!

Probably one of the better sequels ever made (sure, it wasn’t as good as the original, but it still was pretty damn good!), this DVD is looking mighty packed with special features and cool menus. Check out the specs!

Region 1; Widescreen – 1.85

Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1 – English; Dolby Digital 6.1 – English
Closed Captioned – English Subtitles – English, Spanish – optional

Additional Release Material:

Audio Commentary – Darren Lynn Bousman – Director, Donnie Wahlberg, Beverley Mitchell – Stars

Featurettes – 1. The Props of SAW II – 2. Deconstructing Jigsaw’s Traps

Deleted Scenes

Production Interviews – Original Theatrical Trailer

Interactive Features: Interactive Menus; Scene Access

Text/Photo Galleries: Storyboards; Concept Art

My only complaint in all this: deleted scenes, yet no unrated edition! At least- not yet. Which means the double-dipping DVD machine will be in effect with this one (much like the original SAW DVD release). I know, there are times when I get so sick of ‘unrated editions’- but only because most times they’re unneeded- like why do you need an unrated version of THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE– why not release the f*ckin’ thing in it’s true R-rated form?

A movie like SAW II has to have a bit more of the red stuff than what we saw in theaters… it’s just too bad we’ll have to wait till Halloween or something when they release their unrated double-dipped edition.

At least we have these cool menus to oogle over. Check out the flick’s Official Site for more info., and look for SAW II on DVD February 14th.
