Since the day is slow for news (I think everyone and their mom must be checking out GRINDHOUSE today), I thought this may interest ya to some degree. We were pointed in the direction of Ontario’s ‘In Production/ On Location’ website, that has a listing of what’s filming, and for how long the production will be in town. Besides an assload of TV movies and shows, there were a couple of feature films to take note of, primarily: SAW IV!
Even though I thought SAW III wrapped up the series nicely, and therefore, made a part 4 so obviously for the money and for no other reason, I’ll still likely check it out as that’s the kind of movie freak I am. And let’s face it, if you love horror, sometimes that means sitting through a bunch of crap you know is going to be garbage on the chance that it might actually be good.
According to the OMDC, SAW IV is scheduled to start filming April 16th, and run through May 25th. I somehow doubt this is the entire filming production schedule (and just what they’re filming in Ontario), but that’s still a pretty quick shoot. Plenty of time to prep it up and pimp it out for yet another Halloween release.
No news on cast members yet, but since it’s scheduled to film in just over a week, I’d say those announcements will be hitting the net very soon.
